Prairie in Bloom

Painted on location in Door County, Wisconsin, along Plum Bottom Road, during the 2025 Door County Plein Air Festival. I was in a small clearing in a field of native prairie grass at Plum Bottom Gallery. The barn with the prairie grass and small bush were a perfect composition. There wasn't much that I had to change! Will be available through J Petter Galleries in Saganaw, Michigan, as part of the American Impressionist Society's 2026 Small Works Showcase.
